About Studienkolleg Germany
Studienkolleg Germany,a product of MDWi AG is a private Studienkolleg, state-approved by the Ministry of Economy, Science and digitization in Saxony-Anhalt, located in Magdeburg the capital city of the state Saxony-Anhalt.
Since the industrial revolution, Magdeburg has established itself as an important technical location. As a historic center of heavy machinery production, there was an early effort to tie research and education to the place where machinery was manufactured. As a result, the Otto-von-Guericke University, which is named after the physicist and mayor of Magdeburg Otto von Guericke, was founded in 1993.
MDWi AG was established in 2008 as a spin-off of the Otto-von-Guericke University with the objective of inspiring foreign students to choose to study in Magdeburg. Studienkolleg Germany works in close cooperation with the Otto-von-Guericke University where many of our graduates are currently enrolled.
